Re: suspecting a slipped disk in the lower back

thanks for your concern. I've been to a bone specialist and had my x rays done but the doctor said that there's nothing wrong. The muscle tension and muscle weakness has gotten better but my fingers feel less nimble. When I'm walking, my right hip is retracted and the vibration due to movement travels up the spine. When I'm seated, i can feel a rolling motion if i move the hips. I don't know what is wrong with me. The pain comes and goes and is only slight.

Re: suspecting a slipped disk in the lower back

Eva have they done a neural screen on you? Tendon reflexes, Babinski, Clonus, Hoffman's? Dermatomes? Myotomes? So that you know if upper motor neurons, lower motor neurons, nerve root, or peripheral nerves are involved. The tingling in hands and feet and the weakness tend to be neural issues.

Do you have any issues with numbness in the pelvic floor area? Any problems with bowel and bladder?

If none of the above is an issue, then you're likely looking at postural and musculoskeletal type issues.
