hi, I'm 20 and was active in sports. I have a history of mild osteoarthritis and is currently taking glucosamine and cod liver oil as supplements. however in the past week, i have been experiencing a pressure in my lower back around the seat area which gives me the feeling that my bones are constantly rubbing against each other when i move.there's also a faint clicking sound in the hips when i walk. when i lay down, it feels as if my spine is protruding from my back. The muscle around my right shoulder place is also tense which limits the turning movement in my neck. sometimes, there's also a slight tingling sensation in my fingers and toes which leaves me very worried because i'm about to start my degree program in a week's time. recently after a brief jog with my dog, i can feel a sudden pain in my calf whenever i twist or point my ankle. The mucsle in my right hand feels weak too. I've been on Ibuprofen for 2 days and haven't been to the doctor's yet. can someone help me out? I'm very very distressed over this matter. Thank you so much for your attention and concern.

thanks for your concern. I've been to a bone specialist and had my x rays done but the doctor said that there's nothing wrong. The muscle tension and muscle weakness has gotten better but my fingers feel less nimble. When I'm walking, my right hip is retracted and the vibration due to movement travels up the spine. When I'm seated, i can feel a rolling motion if i move the hips. I don't know what is wrong with me. The pain comes and goes and is only slight.
Eva have they done a neural screen on you? Tendon reflexes, Babinski, Clonus, Hoffman's? Dermatomes? Myotomes? So that you know if upper motor neurons, lower motor neurons, nerve root, or peripheral nerves are involved. The tingling in hands and feet and the weakness tend to be neural issues.
Do you have any issues with numbness in the pelvic floor area? Any problems with bowel and bladder?
If none of the above is an issue, then you're likely looking at postural and musculoskeletal type issues.
