Hello I am 6 weeks post opp with the ny rangers doc feldman in nyc. We used patellar tendon as it was my decision. I have been working really hard the last 2 weeks as my house got flooded and I had to repair walls and bathroom. I had no choice and had to do this myself. I have been lifting heavy stuff carefully but want to make sure I am ok. I feel fine still after the work but get worried i could have compromised something. I have been in pt going hard since 12 days post opp and walking no crutches since 19 days. Work hard in pt 2 days a week but home myself everyday as im a physed teacher and football coach. Just checking that i am fine for piece of mind. The only thing i get after alot of work or walking alot is fatigue and minor swelling.
Thanks Louis

minor swelling is a warning that u may have done a bit too much. Been active is quite a benefit just dont over do it. Make sure after exercise or daily activities that cause the swelling to raise the knee above the heart. You lay down close to the wall and rest the heels on that while your back on the bed or floor. Do you know the wall slides if not ask the PT you going at to demostrate you the position which is what am trying to explain
