Hello
For the past 3 years I have had neck discomfort and severe pain across left scapula (medially)radiating to inner aspect of upper arm. If I do not change position the pain appears at the wrist extending into my little finger where I also have pins and needles.
This almost exclusively occurs when I am relaxed and lying either on my left side, back or prone and has significantly interfered with sleep.
The clinic referred me externally for an open MRI and the report demonstrates disc bulging and nerve compression on right side but normal on left. Nerve conduction study results confirm radiculopathy on left involving C7andT1.
I have generalised OA and have had 4 arthroplasties

So my questions: Why was the MRI negative?
What treatment options are available?
Many thanks
