I'd say go back and get checked out. You definitely need physio. And not sure how long since you reinjured yourself, but you want to check that nothing fractured during that.
Age: 29, Female, Presenting Problem Since: since surgery in march 2011, Symptom Behaviour: worse, Symptoms Worse (24hr Behaviour): All day and worst at night, Aggravating Factors:: everyday things especially walking around and standing, Easing Factors:: heat, Investigations: MRI, Xrays, Surgery, No Diabetes, No history of High Blood Pressure, No Medications, No Osteoporosis, No Hx of Cancer, No Unexplained Weight Loss, No Bowel/Bladder issues
I had an arthroscopy surgery done in march 2011, since then my ankle has improved from what it was pre surgery however differently worse post.
What happened was i got a wee bit drunk *cough* and fell off my shoes and rolled my ankle but was extremely lucky to not have torn any ligaments. When i had the surgery it was over a year since the injury and i was not improving, i had 3 lots of inflammation removed and also damaged cartilidge. However now im having worse problems.
If i run down stairs sometimes the front of my ankle will jar and ill almost collapse in pain, the outside of my ankle cracks really bad and hurts when it does. I think im also compensating because my archiles tendon on my other foot is so dang sore when i rest and get upto walk i feel like i should be 90 coz i can barely walk. Also i lost some feeling in my foot i think he nicked a nerve during surgery.
Any ideas? Should i being going back to physio and perhaps re visiting my surgeon? What is going on??
