My shoulder muscles are very hard - I don't even have to flex to get them to feel that way. I'm just standing still doing nothing. They are naturally like that. They have been that way for as long as I can remember. My shoulders are very broad - like a man. They don't hurt or anything.

Is this a bad thing? Just the way he was talking about my muscles made me think that there may be something wrong..

Well well, it's common for all of us, ages are not a matter after all. Is the posture... the habits of slouching, shrugging, carrying heavy load stuffs may cause muscle tense...which is what we known it as muscle spasms... Chill... all you have to do is, stretching...go back to your physio and seek for advice
