Early 2011 I was diagnosed with Chronic Exertional Compartment Syndrome of the Flexor Hallicus Longus muscle with pain/symptoms beginning late 2009. The first sign of pain began with a cramp and was treated as torn muscle and had no positive results. I have had other tests to remove the possibility of other conditions. The result is Compartment Syndrome and surgery is out of the option as there will a be an extremely low outcome rate for myself as it is only in one compartment and could be classified as weird, as pain is constant and gets progressively worse with activity. Any comments will be gladly appreciated!
