    Magnesium for muscle relaxation

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
    Hello there,

I'm posting on behalf of my Italian girlfriend, who has recently moved to the UK.
She suffers from muscular pain primarily starting from the neck, as a result of an over-straight neck, that causes constant tension in the neck muscles. This makes her sensitive to seasonal changes and any other cause of muscle stiffness then has a knock on effect to supporting muscle groups, that then leads to muscle stiffness and then headaches etc..
Normally she would visit her physiotherapist and have regular massage to treat the stiffness. Also, she started to take a Magnesium supplement, given to her by her physiotherapist which helped alot to relax the muscles and reduce the flare ups.

So, after the eassy(!) here is the question: I'm struggling to find the same magnesium here in the UK. I've found many Magnesium citrates, but this doesn't seem to do the trick; therefore I thought best to ask an expert here, in the hope that i can be pointed in the right direction (as I'm sure someone knows the product I'm looking for.) Its described as 'Superior Magnesium', a pure magnesium, is taken in a powdered form (diluted with water), and has a pretty disgusting taste. Also helps with general relaxation (and is a very effective laxative if the wrong dosage is taken....).

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Very much look forward to hearing a response.

    Thanks,
    James.

    Aircast Airselect Short Boot
I think it tends to be called supermag in this country. One supplier I know that does it in UK is called Nutrigold and name their product Supamag.
