The format of the attachment cannot be opened in it's full extend. What I could read head to do with ability to move the neck: reduced. The assumption where the problem lies C= cervical, T= Thoracic. But why don't you ask the person who has written the report? Or ask the physiotherapist you normally would see after an accident? Just a thought..

Re: Car Crash Shoulder and Neck Pain

The file you attached explains what the physiotherapist found at objective assessment. Your cervical active range of motion for rotation to the left and to the right, and for side bending to the left and to the right is limited to 50% of the normal, and muscles are tight.
For your thoracic spine the rotation left and right, the active range of movement is limited to 3/4 of normal. Tight muscles as well
C3-C6 for example is the area of cervical vertebra and T2- T4 is for the thoracal area. He found restriction at this level.

So you need to work on your range of movement for neck and upper back and decrease your muscle tightness through stretching, soft tissue release, heat therapy, exercises, etc.

You should perform a range of motion exercises. You can consult a occupational therapist and/or physical therapist who can help in selecting the specific exercises that will benefit you.Tissues of a tight shoulder do not like to be stretched suddenly, roughly, or with a lot of force. Thus the strategy is to apply a gentle stretch so that at most minimal soreness results. You should carry out this shoulder stretching sequence three times a day. As much as possible, these sessions should be performed after the shoulder has been relaxed by a hot shower, bath, or aerobic exercise.

Personally I think it is not acceptable to do some form of advertising on this site. You do advertise and you know it! There will be plenty of very good physiotherapists around. It is up to a customer to decide where to go. You know that the person is living in the UK and not New York thus you advertise it for other readers! Why? You really make me curious, bellasimon

I agree with you Neurospast. This is not an advertisement. Its just that there are so many people around looking for an efficent physical therapist wheather in UK or in USA. It is just a little help from my side to those people. Have I done something wrong?
