Smile Stress Fracture of first metarsal?

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
My problems started around early april possibly coinciding with a minorly rolled ankle. I started to feel pain in the top right of my left foot on the bone in my foot which runs down to the big toe, first metatarsal? Anyway i played AFL for about for about 12 weeks and it kept getting sorer and sorer kicking was not an issue bit running seeming to really cause me pain, in the end i stopped playing for 5 weeks as the pain would radiate up my whole leg to my ankle and after one game i was unable to walk. I then proceeded to take 5 weeks off until AFL finals which i played two games stretching over 3 weeks i didnt really have a problem in these games and the pain was minimal/non existent.

It has been 6.5 weeks since AFL season has ended and i have done no activity other than walking and riding and i can still feel the injured area it is not hurting but i can feel that there is still something there can anyone help me please? Thanks

Applying ice to the injury is very important. Ideally, this should be done for around 20 minutes per hour. Taping and strapping techniques can also be applied to offer stability to the injury.
