    Hello all,

Ever since I can remember, I've never been able to touch my toes. In fact, I can barely touch my knees! When I try to stretch I feel quite a painful sensation in the area behind my knees mostly. It was like this when I was a kid and continues now. Does anyone have any idea why? What would pain directly behind the knees suggest? Tendons? The only thing I can think of is that when I was born, the doctors said that I might not be able to walk because my legs were very skinny and small. But then I grew normally and I have no other problems.

I work out with a very good personal trainer now and stretch everyday and it's getting better but maybe if I knew the exact cause I could try to target the problem areas more directly.

    Cheers,

    Sydney

You can see a sports massage therapist who can give you a deep massage. You can also try stretching with a calf stretcher to loosen your leg muscles.
