Hello,

I fell over on the 14th Feb 2014 and dislocated my Ac Joint, I believe it to be a type 3, i went to an NHS hospital and although i asked what type they could only tell me it was a Complete seperation and i i tore the ligaments around my collarobone.

I now have a lump which is normal for this type of injury.
I am a bodybuilder and i lift heavy weights.
What i need to know is:
1) Should i still be in pain from the injury especially when i lift weights
2) Am i right in saying that the shoulder blade actually drops down rather than the collarbone popping up as my shoulder blade has dropped on the right side.
3) I have less definition on the right shoulder compared to the left, which i did not have before. Will this return with Exercise?
4) Due to the drop in my shoulder i have less trap muscle on that side as it is stretched over a larger area, can i fix this with exercise?

I just need to understand what i am dealing with, The hospital informed me i did not need physio, but i have spoken with two physios who gave me exercises to help build strength but they have not taken into consideration the exercises and strength training i already do.

I thank you in advance for any help and advice you can give on this, as i am getting frustated with it all.
