This then resulted in the cramp dulling and a sharp pain in the lateral part of my ankle joint. After a week this had gone and left me with cramp again in my foot and calf, a couple of week after that I began to get a sharp pain on the medial side of my knee. Now 3 months on I'm regularly get cramp in my foot, calf, sharp pains in the lateral part of my ankle and the medial part of my knee, sharp pains in my hamstrings and my perforumis muscle.... and all this can happen from just driving or walking around town. I have not being swimming or performed moderate or intense exercise since this started as every time I've attemped to it has been so painful.

If anyone can help at all I would be most grateful, Its depression not doing any exercise espically now the weather is getting nice!

Thank you,

Dear Emma,

Beside the pain in the lower limb that you described as being sharp, do you have any sensory changes and if so where?
Is there any pins and needles tingling, numbness?
Is there any weakness or muscle wasting?
Did you try the neural tests for the lower limb? Nerve tension tests such as slump test, SLR?
Is there any loss of balance or coordination.
Can you walk normally on your tip toes or on you heels?
Please give me more details and what movements reproduce your pain.
Did you have any blood tests done recently? #

Please let us know so we can answer you back,

Nicoleta
