I have been having pain at the top of my tibia for about 2 1/2 months now. The pain is located deep in the tibial tubercle when i press into it. I do not have pain at rest or walking or even when doing light running. However whenever i press into the side of the tibial tubercle it hurts, also hurts to dorsiflex my foot. It feels like the pain is deep in the bone. I have looked on the internet and the only thing i have come up with is osgood schlatter however i am 23 and never suffered from it, so i doubt it. I have been doing all the conventional methods stretching, leg excercises and RICE for about 2 months but no luck. I need to get back to running ASAP.
Would really appreciate some advice or some idea of what this could be.
Thanks.
