Hi all
I am experiencing pain when actively flexing my hip above 90 degrees. I feel this pain around the anterior/medial junction. I'm also experiencing popping in my hip at random points and I have a general feeling of tightness/aching. I also have a positive FADIR test.
I have had an x-ray which was all clear, so no bone issues. I have also had a physical exam from the Dr, no sign of a hernia.
Any soft tissue work I try to do, rolling or stretching, seems to aggravate it. I've tried loosening adductors, hamstrings, quads, ITB, TFL, all seem to have a negative effect. I've also targeted glute strength, which seems to help somewhat, but i can never get to the point of being pain free.
I have no pain if someone puts my hip into flexion above 90 and I can drop into a squat position without pain although i feel this aggravates it.
I have been experiencing this pain for around 6 months.
Any ideas what it could be?
Many thanks
