Re: I have pain after I fell on my buttock 3 days ago

    Hi Nicoleta,

Thank you for replying, today will finish 1 week having this injury, and I can say it is not getting hugely better, the pain is still there.
    In regards to your questions

    Did you ice the area?
I didn't, is it too late to ice it now?

Do you have any other symptoms such as bladder/bowel changes, numbness in your pelvic area or any funny feelings down your legs?
Yes, I noticed that my urinating is slow, and if I put pressure to urinate faster I feel the pain increases!
Also, going to toilet use to be once a day, I think now is once every two days, but I don't have problems or pain when I do, just the normal level of pain I have.
I didn't notice any other symptoms

    Walking aggravates it?
Not that much, I can walk easily with very low pain, and couple of days ago I went out and I believe I walked more than 2 hours without feeling the need to stop, it is just the same level of pain there.

    Thanks again

    Dear Sir,

As I understand you don't have problems controlling your bladder/bowels, neither numbness, pins and needles.
It looks like the impact on the bone has caused the pain and this make take a while to resolve as bone bruise tends to take a while.

You should return to work to avoid of side effects of stiffness,ms weakness and try to avoid sitting long times, stay lghtly active.

Ice helps with the pain and you could start some gentle exercises to stretch your lower back and gluteal ms.

Ice will help a lot in regards to pain, 10' application at a time, you can use it several times a day if needed.

    Regards,
    Nicoleta
