pain and tingling in palm of hand after over doing carpel tunnel stretch

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
Hi. I was just performinh carpel tunnel stretches with the left palm facing up and arm stretched out in front, using my other hand to bend fingers down/back I over did it. When I performed the stretxh /exercise there was already pain where the ulnar nerve runs through and it was really tight compared to no pain or tightness in my other hand. Anyway, I pulled too much and I felt a really bad stabbing pain for a few seconds, it really was hurting for those few seconds. Now around the palm of the hand next to the wrist its all tingly but with no pain, my fingers don't feel numb though, have I permanently damaged my nerve/s? I'm very scared.

Hi Nax - I doubt that you have done any permanent damage. Perhaps when you try this stretch again, you go a bit more gently. Chillax
