    Hi

I first strained my right hamstring and after 3 physio sessions it was easing . However i did something to the same hamstring shortly after and had another physio massage but 2 days after i was in excruciating pain and with that i couldn't sleep. Normal anti inflamatories didnt help. Nothing much did

The physio had been using exercises, ultrasound, massage and interferential therapy ultrasound.

It feels weak and still painful. I havent had a scan.

My physio is at a loss of what to do.

i dont know whether its connected but my right hip has been playing up

I cant do much normal exercises due to lightheadedness problem and poor blood flow to brain

    History
I had been seeing the physio prior to that for same leg achilles tendonitis/calf injury that is now 95% better.

Hi SHELLBELLE77 and thanks for your post.

I suppose the first thing is to dig a little deeper into the history of the 'injury'. Was this the first time you had strained the hamstring muscle? And could you explain what it was that you did to cause the injury. It will help me to understand if this is a true injury to the hamstring muscle or if it might be a referred pain into the hamstring region that could be due to other structures or areas. If you can provide a little more information others might be able to provide further insight.

    regards
