Ankle - Left
hi
i am 10 weeks post orif surgery for a Weber c fracture of my left ankle
i had my split cast removed after 7 weeks but after removal my surgeon informed me that due to the Covid situation,i would not be given any physio and told to look on the internet for exercises and was discharged.
It is now 3 weeks since discharge and have found some exercises on the internet.
I was wondering if someone could advice on what milestones i should look for as to what levels i should be at and timescale.
I am just about able to weight bear on the anke but find it very sore after exercise and unable to walk on it.
Most of the pain seems to be on the outside of the ankle above and below of the " knuckle " and also the 3 toes at the side of the big toe are numb.
Hoping you can help

Hey! Due to COVID-19, it’s wise not go for any physical physiotherapy treatments. Social distancing is a must. But that shouldn’t stand in your way to bettering your health. Ankles are quite important for any movement for your body. There is an option called Virtual physiotherapy treatment which is good considering the present situation. You can consult therapists online, they can analyze your movements via video chats and customize your workout routines to better the condition of your ankles or whichever body part that needs attention. Try it! Hope you feel better soon.
