    Brief Medical History Overview

    9 month old back injury

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
I am 65 years old and been very active. Half- Marathon runner in the past and weight lifter. Coming back into the gym last year I lifted 315 lbs with a trap bar dead lift. No immediate pain or realizations I might have hurt myself. A couple months later I began having muscle spasms in the right side of my back- upper. These lasted until about 4 months until a Chriopracter said I had a rib out of place. A few weeks with him and spasms were gone and much better . But never fully healed from muscle pain in my back and rib area. MRI indicated 5 herniated discs and mild kyphosis. I’ve been trying to rehab with stretching and very light weights 10-15 lbs. It just never gets healed and now I am wondering if I just need to stop all stretching and weights and do nothing but walk and rest for months ?
