hi there,

i've had a problem with my right hip for a couple of years now but only just gone to a physio to get it checked out.

she told me i've got extreamly tight hips for someone my age (29). i play football and squash and am a bit strange as i'm right handed but left footed.
i've been checked for a leg length difference, my right feels longer than my left. they said there is only a diff of about 1mm if that when i'm lying or sat. but when i'm standing it looks larger than that.

i've been given some stretches to do (hip and quads) and they have made a bit of difference, but i can still feel pain in my right hip, especially at night.

i'm off for an xray to see whats going on, but does anyone have any ideas? the physio thought it was a bit strange

thanks for any help you can give
