    Brief Medical History Overview

    L5/S1 disc protrusion ???

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
    Hello

I recently been having back probs (see my only other post) and a Wikipedia reference-linkMRI scan revealed the following

Small but significant right centrolateral L5/S1 disc Protrusion causing moderate compromise of the right S1 root. Mild Wikipedia reference-linkfacet joint degenerative change but no other neural compromise.

Is it possible this can be managed with phyiso and/or exercise ?

Sadly the company who did the scan and the report didnt give me any other info about further treatment or exercises

    Any help glady recieved

    Lee

    Hello Lee,
Disc problems upto the the stage of Bulging can be very easily treated with exercises and physiotherapy. And if the problem is there for less than 3-months, you can expect a complete recovery with 15-days therapy.
