Hello,
I have a concern about about a second surgery on my right wrist. My first surgery almost 2 yrs ago in Florida to fix minor tfcc tear with debridement. Went well, close to normal shortly after. Re-injured at job six months later. Laid off. Continued to have problems (pain when opening doors, lifting, shaking hands, etc) for over a year.
Moved to different state saw ortho and he suggested another arthroscope. He saw inflammation and abnormalities.? Didn't sound that bad. He did more debridement but that's all I know. Its almost been almost six weeks and it feels worse, even additional pain and stiffness along top of wrist in addition to the tfcc site. Hurts when pressure applied along with stiffness and pain during movement and use. Am I worrying too much too soon. I'm sure it needs more time I just thought it would be better than this by now.
Seeing Doc in a week but last visit he spent two seconds with me, told me he lost the surgery pictures, and he'd see me in a month. So I've been concerned. It was different the first time but I understand this is my second surgery. Any suggestions appreciated. Thank you.
