    Re: Kung Fu/Knee Problems? Possibly...

it would be better to pinpoint the site where the problem is.

is it lay more on the upper thigh ? , lower thigh ? on the inside (medial) ? on the outside (lateral) ?

do you feel the discomfort starts from inside ? or you can touch the painful/problematic area ?

do you have problem dealing with stairs or have giving way after the episode?

    THanks

    Re: Kung Fu/Knee Problems? Possibly...

It has not really ever felt painful yet, almost a slight ache.

I can feel it between the joint inside, and also it feels like i have 'over stretched' that ligament running over the front of the knee over that joint.

    Thanks.

This sound like you are straining or stretching one of the knee ligaments. I do wing chun kung fu and have always been cautioned by my si-fu to use pain as a guide. If it's really starting to hurt, either you're over-doing it or doing something wrong. Hope that helps.
