    Brief Medical History Overview

    Tingle in wrist/palm

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
Can't really remember the exact details as it did not really bother me at the time, but i don't want it to turn into anything. basically it was bench day today, and after doing 4 sets on the flat BB bench, i went to DB incline and started on a heavier set than usual and for some reason on the 7th rep my arms became tired, and my left wrist tingles very briefly for like a second, then it did the same for each rep on the next 2 days on and off. It seemed to stop if i did it very slowly and started up again even if i lowered the weight on the last set for a few reps. No pain, or discomfort during nor after. I'm guessing it can't be Carpal tunnel syndrome as there was no numbness, pain or strangness in the wrist other than during those few reps. my next workout is on Thursday. I can grip bottles and everything with force without pain or discomfort, so am i making a big deal out of nothing? Thanks. The only thing i can think of is that because i went up to a higher weight (which i was on a month ago before a short break), could it be that my wrists bent backwards with the weight causing a compression or something?

Any tingling sensation is due to nerve compression, whether it be through swelling, muscular or bony entrapment. Carpal tunnel syndrome is an example of this but I would say not in your case. Symptoms do usually start off minimal and increase in severity but often start at night and with aching more than tingling.

I would consider an entrapment at either the elbow, shoulder or upeer back/neck. Could be posture or technique related. Either way I'd get it checked out to ease your mind!
