Re: New Zealand or Australia - which is easier / cheaper?

    Thanks Fizzio for your reply.

I have looked up similar information. I just want to check that i can obtain my NZ registration and the convert it to Aus via the path you discuss. Do you know if there is a need for me to actually practise in NZ prior to my Aus application? Any cannot find anything that stipulates i have to do this but don't know of any small print that i might have missed.

    Regards

    Hi djstanbo,

Do you know if there is a need for me to actually practise in NZ prior to my Aus application?
you do not need to actually have worked or obtained a job as a Physiotherapist in NZ; however, you need to have a current Annual Practicing Certificate - which allows you to take on work in NZ.

    Hope this helps,
    cheers,
    Fyzzio
