Hi
I wonder if any UK trained therapists have been through the process of sitting exams and applying for a visa to work as a physiotherapist in the USA.
I am planning on moving to New York later this year and therefore if anyone can offer any advice / help I would be really grateful.
Thanks
Tara

Hi
Thanks so much for your reply. I am currently having documents sent from my university (there has been a huge delay) - I would be really grateful if you could tell me exactly what you sent document-wise from your university so that I can avoid having to keep re-contacting them to send more information as it seems to be a really long process for them to access my information.
I have looked on the USA website for working in New York but any additional advice that might save me time in the long run would be great. Thanks again and good luck with your application.

Hi Tara, I am intending on moving to NY early next year and was just hoping you could give me some info as to whether you went through an agency or organised things yourself. I am unsure as to whether i can apply for Jobs before i have sat the exam in NY. Would really appreciate your advice and what agency you went through. I am currently registered in Melb, Aust, and have been working for 3 years. Good luck with your application!

Wanted to know if you would be interested or can refer other physiotherapists for our program.
Hi,
Is there anyone who applied for NY credential verification after the new rule has been implemented? An input would be much appreciated. My classmate applied for Type I and got a deficit in chemistry and pharmacology. So I am kinda hesitant to apply in NY. Please any suggestion and where to get the pharmacology class online that are credited by FSBPT..
Thanks
Hi All
We might be able to help you with jobs in NY. All those who are not able to get Credentials through NY can try for Michigan, it is easier and there are several jobs available as well.
