    Re: Working in NZ

    Hi,
I am a final year Physio student in the UK and as you may know the job situation here is very poor at the moment. I know it is necessary to have at least a years experience before one can work in New Zealand. I have heard recently however that there may be some exceptions to this rule considering the difficulties UK graduates are facing. Is this true? Any help you could offer would be great!
    Many Thanks,
    Mary

Hi Mary, I'm afraid if you are doing a 3yr undergraduate (or 2yr Masters) that it seems that you definintley need 12 months experience, no exceptions by the looks of it! They are happy to take graduates of the 4yr programme though (without experience)....bit odd if you ask me!

I am Sonia from India, want to
get registered with NZ Physiotherapy Board.
I had applied in June 2007 but my application

    Tks & Rgds,

    Sonia
