Physiotherapy job in NYC

hi..i have done my Bachelor in Pysiotherapy from Indraprasth University, Delhi, India. It is a 4.5 yrs of course. I have also done my 6 months internship froom one of the delhi Govt. Hospital.

Can anyone pls tell me that how can I get a job in New York, USA. What exactly I will have to do to get the job.

Please guide.

Dear Friend,

1) First of all you will be required TOEFL exam and a score of 26 on Speaking Section.
2) Then you will have to get your transcript evaluated by approved agency for NEW YORK Sate. Links to these agencies: FCCPT and http://www.icdel.com/
3) Lastly you will need to give a NPTE (National Physical Therapy Examination) for New York State.

After this only you will be able to apply for PT job.
NOTE: You can give TOEFL & apply for Evaluation when you are in INDIA but for giving NPTE Licensure Examination, you will have to be in USA.
