Clinical Placement in Canada

Has anyone done a clinical placement in BC, Canada? I'm a Canadian studying in the UK and would love to go home for a placement.

Did you need to go through the NACEP before you could do a clinical placement there?

As far as I can tell I have to go through this application process with the NACEP via UBC to be considered for a placement with the local hospitals. I don't know if I have to do this for private practices or not.

Any information regarding doing a placement in Canada would be great.
