Hi everyone, im new to the site but have just spent the last 3 hours reading through other posts and have found it very helpful! so a thank you to start! Im in a bit of a predicament. I have recently graduated from a sports science degree and want to pursue a career in physio, more specifically neuro physio at this moment in time. I know i will have to udertake a standard physio course before specialising in neuro! I am currently working within the NHS as part of a rehab team specialising in clients with brain injuries. I have already been accepted for 2010 entry at St Georges for the BSc (which i believe is a good university and seems like a good practice invironment considering it is hospital based) but being held back from cost of living. I am also applying and more attracted to doing an MSc pre reg in terms of coming out with two different level qualifications, this is another resaon holiding me back from the BSc.. however it is proving quite difficult to get accepted for the MSc and finding one close to home.
this is my predicament, do I
1. Retract my offer from ST Georges and apply for BSc's closer to home within commuting distance.
2. Carry on working and save to be able to afford to study at St Georges
3. Leave the BSc course and focus on getting accepted for a MSc and carry on working, gaining expereience untill i get accepted.
I hope someone can offer some advice.
thanks in advance
Marco
