Hi,

I know there's no end of threads on here about electives, but I'd really appreciate some help! I've been trying to set up my elective placement for the end of my 2nd year, next summer (2010)...Was really keen to do it out in Australia or New Zealand, but seem to have exhausted every channel there. Am now left trying to decide what to do! I'd really like to do something out of the ordinary, and possibly abroad, since obviously our placements through university are in local hospitals...and I'm a keen traveller! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I feel like I'm clutching at straws at this point!

I'm particularly interested in paedeatrics, rheumatology and neuro-rehabilitation if that helps at all, but am open to any ideas!!!
