I had a bit of a look for a good review article a while ago but didn't find anything - which surprised me. Ithink your best sources or starting point would be to look at a good orthpaedic/sports PT text I find chapter 5 in Orthopaedic examination, evaluation, and intervention By Mark Dutton really good. You can access it through google books:
