    study material

    Hi all,

my wife is starting her DPT program next May and I am trying to get her some books or study material as a gift. Is there some book that is considered the "bible" of Physical Therapy, some book nobody can be without?

Or what do you think about these DVDs that are out there? In particular, I was looking at the "DVD Atlas of Human Anatomy"?

    Anyway, thanks for any opinion.

    best regards,
    Wolle

    Re: study material

Different books come in handy at different years. But in first year anatomy itself is a huge component. And thereafter for the career. By far the best Anatomy text book for images is Color Atlas of Anatomy: A Photographic Study of the Human Body, 7th Edition Anyone who doesn't have that title should get theselves one. I wish I had it in first year.

Also something that really helps with home study is the 6 Anatomy DVD set by Acland. It's like having the anatomy lab in you lounge room.
