Re: Rehabilitation Science/Physiotherapy MSc (pre-reg) Brighton, Course Advice

    Hi Liam,

I am currently studying at Brighton doing the MSc Rehab Science course. I have taken some time out until February due to illness but I will continue my NHS placements in 2013. I would say the course at Brighton is very good, but their is a huge emphasis on problem based learning which I do not like much. All the teachers/lecturers are very good and approachable.

The workload is huge but that is to be expected. If I can answer any more questions then just let me know.

    Matt

    Cheers for the reply Matt
I have tried to message you but you have it turned off, since I posted this I had my selection event at Brighton. The staff seem really good as you say, and yes Dr Kuisma was rather focused on PBL and could of assumed it ran dry on some of the students. I did meet some of your coursemate then, and unfortunate to hear your unwell, but equally as good as you are able to continue where you left off.
Today I just had my interview day at York St John, to compare them both is rather difficult.
I'm not sure on both of them, and its nearly been a month since the selection event so I may not have even made the course.

Did you not apply anywhere else Matt? are you from near brighton/eastbourne?

    Liam
