Hey guys.
I'm in a predicament and looking for some help on choosing between the University of Queensland and the University of Melbourne.
Mostly looking at the pro's and con's between each of the programs.
Obviously UQ is two years of three semesters each and is a masters degree, while UniMelb is three years and is titled Doctor of Physiotherapy. I am fully aware that in Australia this is a mute point, however if I ever intend on moving back to the United States this may be of benefit to pursue the clinical Doctorate. The Melbourne program also seems to be proactive in addressing the increasing scope of the practice of physios i.e. advanced pharmacology, leadership and management, advanced diagnosis.
So anyone who has experience at either school, let me know what you think!
Thanks!
Reegan
