    PNF

    hey

    I wanna ask you , can we use PNF for patient under 18 years old because i have read some resources said that it is not recommended.

    I want your opinion

    dear colleagues,

    It is a real pity that so most physiotherapists that have been "trained" to use PNF arm and leg patterns only.
    THE most important patterns, in my opinion, are actually the trunk patterns.
    A proper PNF course ( see IPNFA - from facilitation to participation - Introduction ) will teach you these skills.

    I have used "parts of " PNF with children many times.... it can be great fun, if you know the techniques. Learn first, apply afterwards is my motto.

    As I was reading I think is not recommended , so my opinion would be not to use it.
    May disrupt growing plates.
