    Internal Snapping Hip

    Hi!

I´ve recently had a Ultra Sound scaning whitch showed a snapping syndrome of my Illopsoas muscle, proberly snapping over Eminentia illiopectina.

I had injection under the muschle right above the bone(where it snaps) it has helped with a leass frequantly snapping sensation, but my hip still hurts??? i can still make my hip "snap"(but now in the late ROM) with full flextion and external rotation => extention, even though i got a injection.. my question is<

    - is my pain circle kept active even though my hip does not snap?
    - And there for requries surgery?

    /Kristian

    Re: Internal Snapping Hip

    Taping
    Hi.

well pain in the goin area, got better when i was warm, and hurts og was irritatede afterwards.

It came in a preiod of some months where i did a lot of hip flexion with resistance.
Ive seen some surgery descriptions where they prolonge the ligamen(muschle - illiopsoas) where the patient has minor pain and no clikking.

My question is more acrutate: is it posible that my illioospsoas muscle kan cause irritation even when im not making my hip snap?

    /Kristian
