I'm lookin for some information and ideas on management of retrocancaneal bursitis in young ice hockey players. If anyone has had experience of this problem whether ti is in ice hockey players or not it would be intresting to have your ideas on the subject!

    Taping
retrocalcaneal bursitis usually occurs due to the footwear ?check skates for pressure build up.
Also check on foot biomechanics and calf length
Usually Rx to reduce inflammation with supportive banadaging and gentle stretching - if no progress try corticosteriod injection
