this is gonna be a bit of a read, but here goes.

I'm currently a Kinesiology student in Canada. My real passion is Sports Related Injuries/Sports Med. It would require me getting into med school which is not easy by any means, or I would need to find an alternative route of completing a Masters and then apply for a PhD?

I was originally looking at doing PT, and while there are many similarities, i wont lie, the salary I have found from searching isn't quite what I expected, although Sports Med definately looks more than pleasing to myself.

I am willing to stick out the extra years of school and work as hard as is necessary. My questions are;
If I go with the Master's/PhD route, does anyone know of a good school in canada for the PhD? Or another q related to this, for my masters, upon completing my BA in Kin, should I pursue a Masters in Science, Kinesiology, or Physiotherapy? (if i do PT i plan on moving to alberta as their masters is course based and my uni is thesis)

Also, with the Med School route, how many years would it take to accomplish Sports Med? (before fellowship)

Now that I brought it up as well, is a thesis based masters considered useless for clinical practices or is it as long as you get lisenced you're ok? i still think i'd rather do course-based.

Anyways, I would really appreciate any information or answers to these questions, and sorry for the long read
