Re: Is this really going to work?

Regarding, the "Tenease" device, for treating "tennis elbow".

    BEWARE!

The medical study referred to in the following 2018 report concluded that there is no benefit in using the Tenease device.

SAGE Journals: Your gateway to world-class journal research

My partner suffers badly from tennis-elbow and I hoped that a Tenease advertisement which has been popping up on my Facebook feed was telling me the truth. It clearly wasn't.

In addition, I have found numerous reviews on Amazon and elsewhere in which people who have paid for this expensive little vibrator have said it didn't assist them at all.

    You've been warned.

The Tenease company is based in Guernsey!

Re: Is this really going to work?

Regarding the "Tenease" device, a further word.

Many people have been expressing enthusiasm beneath an advertisement for the the "Tenease" device on Facebook, so I thought I should add a comment suggesting to anyone interested in it that they should firstly read the study of the device by the Devon and Exeter health authority (which found no benefit in the device). I have just found that the person marketing the "Tenease" device has now blocked me from making any further comments on the device.

Are doctors who are based in the Channel Islands and who sell devices on Facebook immune from investigation by UK medical associations?
