    Musculoskeletal dissertation topic ideas

    Hi!

I am going into my third and final year of study and am having real trouble deciding on what I want to focus on for my dissertation. I have chosen to do an extended research proposal and know that I am interested in the musculoskeletal/sports injuries area of physiotherapy however have no idea what I want to narrow it down to, to write 6000 words about.

Can anyone help me or put me in the right direction? Any ideas with what's current and could do with more research etc or that is a good dissertation topic?!

    Thanks, Kate.

First of all Kate you have to know what sort of researches is possible over there in your place.keeping in mind, the time period, feasibility etc ,you can narrow down into the type of study you intend to do
Check out the articles which is published in the recent 4-5 yrs in the leading physio journals
eg: Physiotherapy,Physical Therapy,JOSPT,Australian Journal of Physiotherapy to name a few.You can do it easily in your lib with direct access to these sites. It won't be so time consuming.you can even contact the authors of a research study you find interesting to know more about the study. Most of the authors i feel are ready to help you out
