Re: very complicated problems with legs, anterior compartment syndrome and other things.

Hi cmdo83, sorry to hear of your problems with anterior comp. syndrome and also the problem with your back. I am an ex-Army Physio and have just left work at ITC (Infantry Training Centre) Catterick where all infantry soldiers, including Paras are trained. As you are probably aware compartment syndrome is common in the military. In the first instance I would suggest that you get your GP to refer you for pressure studies. The Army at present use Minley for the pressure studies, I have to say that the outcome of surgery for this in my experience is very good and the majority of the SUT's (Soldiers under Training) have a positive outcome and continue with their training successfully. I do know one of the Civilian surgeons that does the surgery for the army who is based in Northalleron hospital. If you would like to discuss this further please contact me at [email protected]
    Kind Regards.
