    Persistent Shoulder Problem - Work/Pleasure

    Hey Guys,
Good to find a place where you can get reliable help without the fee!
Not sure if this is the right place but i was just scoping out the site, looks like the right place, please tell me if im posting this in the wrong section or whatever but here it is.
I just had a question about a persistent shoulder problem ive been having (leftside), first noticed it at work when opening a stuck door, the door was iced closed and required significant effort to open. It hasnt felt "right" ever since as in generallly weak, clicking and popping, pain "inside" the joint. After this also had a fall on my skateboard around a month later where i fell and the shoulder got in an awkward spot and locked up, it really popped when it freed up again and ever since has felt worse. The year previous to this the arm was in a cast for approx 4 months for a wrist injury so the arm has not been as strong.
    Thanks for any opinions.
    Mark.

Sounds like a ligament or labrum tear. Some rotator cuff exercises would help.

    Taping
I would suggest getting an imaging ultrasound to check for previously mentioned labrum tears, or any loose bodies in the GH joint, as well as shoulder capsule thickening or tear, and any other problems, since there are quite a number of possibilities of what could have happened ot all those three occasions. A more precise time scale would also be important. Also, is it painful? if yes, when? Lifting your arm to the side, over your head, reaching a back pocket, sleeping etc. as much info on how the problem presents itself would be great
