I just read an extremely interesting article by a Secret Football Physio, pretty much stressing how bad the handling of the collision that a goalkeeper.

Here is an extract from it;

"After spending millions of pounds on players in the summer, Tottenham Hotspur can now make some budget cuts by getting rid of their medical staff. This is because, apparently, their manager is now qualified to make medical decisions.
After Sunday’s 0-0 draw at Everton, Andre Villas-Boas said that it was his call whether a player continues to play after sustaining a head injury. I’m sorry, I thought that was the role of the medical staff"

If you want to read the rest - You'l have to go on The Secret Footballers website -
