Yeah, that's the rule for all soft tissue injuries. They should be loaded to the point of mild discomfort only. This is especially important to begin after the first couple of days post injury to encourage healing. If you go even deeper into this topic you will find some leading sports medicine authors who disagree with the entire PRICE principles arguing that inflammation is essential after injury for correct tissue repair.
