Hi guys,
Currently workin in NSW on temp registration and working/holiday visa.

Reg wasn't too bad to get, basically you complete the form, get all documents notarised including exam transcripts, passports, degree copy. Send in with the processing fee and 8-10 weeks later you'll be notified of eligibility for Temp Reg.

You don't need to have organised a host facility to apply, however you will need this before you can start work, but its just a matter getting them to sign off on the host facility page, and 2-3 days later the Board will send you the Certificate of temp registration.

Regards work, i posted on physiobob (Thanks bob) and was contacted by a recruitment agency. They're really eager to place you (Cuz they get paid) and as a result are relpful re:relocation and all that stuff.

The key is GET STARTED NOW with applying. Don't leave it until your going because i was delayed a few times as they told me they hadn't received my transcripts, 3 weeks later (and 2 job opportunities) they rang saying they were on a desk in the office all along. They're nice in the reg office but have to say pretty disorganised.

At the min I think i am right in saying that NSW have temporarily stopped overseas physios applying for temp visa as after the 1st July I will need to apply to the OZ board which will hopefully enable me to get registration in all states.

Full steam ahead and Oz here we come!!!!
