    advice needed!

Advertise your physiotherapy job on Physiobob's Job
    Hey,

I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2007 in the UK. I have 6 years experience having worked in a private practice, completed junior rotations and am now a senior Physiotherapist. Im looking to register in Australia and am wondering what registration I need? Have looked into it and seems its might be the limited registration. Is this correct?

I would be grateful for any advice!

Hi you can work on limited registration, but this will be under supervision of a registered physio and only on specified locations. The best bet is for you to start the registration process which will allow you to have general registration to practice anywhere in Australia. This will involve an initial assessment of eligibility, then a written exam and three clinical exams in the areas of cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal and neurology. Check out the Australian Physiotherapy Council website to get further information.

    Good luck
