If you get NZ registration you will automatically be able apply for full Australian registration without doing the Acopra exams
Hi there,
I would just like to know the degree of difficulty of the ACOPRA exams and the following links related to the previous examinations. Just a little bit confused whether I would go for New Zealand or Australia for registration.
Thanks!!

Is this a cheeky way in then? Registration in Australia appears to be a very expensive process!
I think I'm going to go for Australia and just start saving up. Any idea what a physios salary is in Oz?I don't expect its to different from the UK just seems to be a much better quality of life.
Do u ahve any idea on how to prepare the portfolio that is required by the new zealand registration boards? It looks like the I have to present a very long presentation of cases to justify those competency charts......
Hi Laura and Charlize
The NZ process requires a lot of paperwork and form filling, the majority of which needs to come from your university. They are very keen on the three core competencies and you HAVE to have a 4 year degree or you need a years experience too so you should be ok Laura if you graduated from Cally.
(I did in 98 and now am partner in an ozzie practice with 9 physios) so get yourself organised and access the kiwi rego board on the web and get started. Aussie salary is about 50-60 thousand bucks - make sure you bargain hard especially if you move north of Brisbane cost of living is much less - no heating bills.
Contact me if you need more info.
Cheers Jimbo
Hi Jimbo,
did you go through NZ to Australia? How long did it take to write the portfolio and are you able to help me out? I've completed the 4 years course in Holland so at least with regards to Uni standards its ok.
Thanks for you help!
