    Hi Kris

    Im a new graduate from the UK, also looking to work in Aus via NZ. You mentioned you could assist?
    My friends an Australian citizen and informs me that i may be able to register in NZ (from the UK) and once approved i should be able to work in oz (no entry exams or experience necessary)
    any thoughts/advice would be most appreciated

    For those of you keen on working in NZ or Aus via the NZ registration process....
    to be eligible for the NZ registration you need to either have:

    a 4 year BSc degree (so have trained in scotland or ireland) OR
    any UK BSc/MSc pre-reg in physiotherapy AND at least 1 year of post grad experience.

    I did the checks myself with the NZ board and to get NZ registration there is no other way than the two options above I'm afraid. They wont budge on this, they basically want people with comparable levels of education as the NZ 4 year degree.

    By the way ou can work in some Australian states without doing the exams on a temporary basis, if you check each Aus state physio website they tell you what thier requirements are.
