P.S I can help oters with questions about exams/crednetialing etc.
I just need to know what BC prospects are OR what gaining permanent residency is like.
Hi everyone,
I am a PT from New Zealand, I have been in Canada fro approx 10 months working. I have been credentialed and have sat the written exam. I am registered for the Van 2011 practical.
I am trying to extend my Visa - change the conditions.
I need a labour market opinion in BC to apply for this but because my new future employer pays per patient i am "technically" self employed and that does not work for government Canada and they can not accept the LMO.
My Question:
Does anyone know if many private clinics in BC pay salary??????????????
As this is the only way to get a temp work permit. The only other way for me to stay is permanent residency.....
Any help or previous insight would be amazing!!!!
cheers
Simon

Hello,
I can't help you with your question because I have only submitted my application but can you please tell me how long it took for your credentials to be accepted after you sent your application? Thanks!
It takes a while!! After not having the correct documents i estimate it took 3 months to get it back. I cant really remember exactly but approximately that would be correct

Hi, I have a Permanent Resident status here in Canada. I just arrived in Winnipeg last July. I'm in the process of submitting my credentials to Alliance of Physiotherapy so that I can take the written exam. Anybody know about any rehabilitation centre who will hire me even as a physiotherapist aide or assistant so that I can still work in that setting? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks
i am also in a same sort of dilemma, can you please email, [email protected]
